Born in Royal Oak, Michigan on November18,1984 at 9:57 p.m. weighing 8lb. 9oz.
A sad story starting in 2004 and ending in 2007
On December 28, 2004 Jamie had gastric bypass surgery. A few months after the surgery she still wasn't able to eat or hold anything down. After 15 endoscopy's and a year later, the Doctor's decided they would have to redo the surgery, by this time she only weighed 104 pounds and had severe malnutrition. She had a feeding tube put in for a month to try and build her up so she could have a second surgery. On April 6th of 2006 she had reconstructive bypass surgery and had many complications causing her to stay in the critical care unit for 2 months. She developed a blood clotting disorder and continuously was hospitalized for blood transfusions. On August 26th 2007 I knew she needed to go to the hospital, she begged me not to take her, she kept saying "mom I will never come home". I took her to the hospital she went into a coma and a few days later her organs started failing. She had "Sepsis" this infection shut down all of her organs and on September 7th I had to make the decision to remove life support. The absolute worse moment, minute, day of my life. I know I will never be the same without my Jamie.
